Day 2: Kathmandu to Zhangmu (Tibet Border)

• Begin the drive to the Tibet border via the scenic landscapes of Rasuwa.
• Cross into Tibet through the Kodari border.
• Overnight stay in Zhangmu, a town on the Tibetan side of the border.

Day 3-4: Zhangmu to Lhasa

• Enjoy the drive to Lhasa, the spiritual capital of Tibet.
• On the way, you will pass through breathtaking high-altitude landscapes, rivers, and ancient monasteries.
• Overnight stays in Lhasa to acclimatize and explore the sacred city.
• Visit Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, and Norbulingka Palace, immersing yourself in Tibetan Buddhism’s rich cultural heritage.

Day 5-6: Lhasa to Shigatse

• Continue the journey towards Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city.
• En route, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama, and explore the unique landscapes of Tibetan plateaus.
• Overnight stay in Shigatse.

Day 7-8: Shigatse to Saga

Day 9-10: Saga to Lake Manasarovar

• Continue the journey towards Lake Manasarovar, one of the most sacred lakes in the Hindu and Buddhist traditions.
• Experience the spiritual energy of the lake, with its crystal-clear waters and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kailash.
• Spend the night camping by the lake or at nearby accommodations.

Day 11-13: Mount Kailash Parikrama

• Begin the Kailash Parikrama (circumambulation), a challenging yet rewarding trek around the base of Mount Kailash.
• The trek is a profound spiritual experience as pilgrims walk around the sacred peak, believing it will cleanse their sins.
• You’ll also visit Darchen, Dirapuk Monastery, and Zutulpuk Monastery during the Parikrama, each offering incredible views of Kailash and profound spiritual significance.

Day 14-15: Return to Lhasa and Departure

• After completing the Parikrama, return to Lhasa through the same scenic route.
• Visit any remaining monasteries or sacred sites in Lhasa before your return journey.
• Depart from Lhasa and travel back to Kathmandu, concluding your Mount Kailash Parikrama tour.
